SOHARPET-Project 2026
We are pleased to announce that our subsidiaries have signed agreements to develop an integrated purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) complex at Sohar Port and Freezone in Oman. With this strategic project, we are relocating our PTA and PET production assets from Rotterdam to Oman, strengthening our presence in the Middle East and creating a new integrated production hub in Sohar. The relocation represents an important step in our long-term strategy and reflects our commitment to establishing a competitive and sustainable production platform in the region.
