MAK Germany to relocate Rotterdam PTA, PET assets to Oman Subsidiaries of producer and trader MAK Germany have signed agreements to develop a $550 million integrated purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) complex at Oman’s Sohar Port and Freezone, in a strategic relocation of capacity from Europe to the Middle East.
